eco2 & The Old Boma A national monument, the Old Boma Hotel is a 100 year old German fort, beautifully restored into a luxurious hotel, whilst retaining many of its original features and old world charm. Located on the hill above Mikindani village, it offers breathtaking views of the bay from dawn to dusk.

At the top of the eco2 break's range, hotel facilities include a large swimming pool surrounded by Frangipani and Flame trees, a pool side bar, the Blue Lagoon relaxation room and sea view terrace, and internet access for guests. The perfect place to relax after a day's divng on East Africa's unique Swahili coast.

The Old Boma restaurant serves a variety of coastal African, Arab and Asian cusine and a good selection of beers, spirits and South African wines are available from the bar.
The spacious guest-rooms are furnished with hand-carved beds with mosquito nets, Tinga Tinga paintings and local crafts.

Deluxe rooms have a balcony with sea or garden view and the high ceilings and thick walls, coupled with ceiling fans, make the rooms cool and airy.
